Exciting Zero Emmissions Update!
At the end of September, we met with Cranfield Aerospace to explore the future of our operations with their innovative net-zero modifications for the Britten Norman Islander.
Going Green: Cranfield Aerospace is hard at work developing a hydrogen fuel solution for the BN Islander, turning the aircraft net zero!
Taking Flight: Cranfield Aerospace recently conducted baseline flight tests of G-HYUK, the unmodified Islander selected as their demonstrator aircraft. Next year, it will become a flying testbed for their cutting edge hydrogen fuel-cell propulsion system. CAeS's sights are set on certifying the hydrogen-powered Islander for commercial service by 2026!
